Why Steady Haul
Ask an owner-operator about their best week and you will hear about a run that paid. Ask about their worst and it is usually not a bad load at all. It is three days sitting, waiting on one. The truck payment does not care which week it was. Neither does the insurance, the plates or the time you did not spend at home.
We took the name because finding one good load was never the hard part. Finding the next one is, and the one after that. That is the whole job, and it is the thing we are actually selling. Not a lucky week. Not clever. Not fast-talking. A steady haul.
What we actually are
We are a dispatch service, which means we work for you, the carrier. We are not a broker and we are not a company you lease onto. We find loads, negotiate rates, handle the paperwork and chase your invoices, all under your own operating authority. Your MC stays yours, your customer relationships stay yours, and if you decide to leave you take everything with you.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. A broker gets paid by keeping the spread between what a shipper pays and what a truck accepts, which means their interests and yours are not the same. We get paid a percentage of what you gross. When you make more, we make more. That is the entire alignment, and it is why we will not book you a cheap load just to book something.
How we work
You see every load and every rate before anything gets booked. There is no forced dispatch here and there never will be. Your money goes from the broker to you or your factoring company, never through us. Our fee is invoiced separately, only on the loads we actually booked, and there is no contract holding you in place if we are not earning it.
